Connection issues lately

Please fix..."cannot connect to servers" and many slooow connections..

My brother introduced me to this game and I must admit, I was skeptical. I never understood his enthusiasm to go get a virtual treasure...until I got the app. This game really does get you out of the house and see different areas around you or even far away places. I find myself eager to go on work trips just for the opportunity to expand my treasure collection. This game is extremely addictive and has brought my brother and I closer. What more can you ask for??
The developers are top notch and really listen to what the players want/need.

If you like instant gratification, don't buy this game. If you insist on making a games' leader board by playing non-stop for 24 hours, don't buy this game. If you think equity amongst players is crucial, despite how long individuals have played, don't by this game.

But if you have patience (a lot of it), are willing to make strategic decisions that take place over months, not hours, and don't get bent out of shape when someone out-snookers you, then DEFINITELY buy this game!!

I've played for about 15 months now and this is my favorite game app hands down! Rewards (new treasures) are found one or two at a time, day by day. You find them, you earn in-game gold. Pay careful attention to the game news feed and treasure list to monitor other players activities, and carefully select an area to bury a few treasures to earn a little gold each day. See what happens. If you live in a popular area like me, nothing you bury may stay in the ground long. So I don't bury in my city. Other players have chosen to spend real world money to level up quicker, and that's their right, but is by NO MEANS necessary to advance in this game. In the words of Guns and Roses, all you need is just a little patience. ;-)

This newest addition includes trap fee income, a great addition! You can choose to spend your gold to buy trap levels for your treasures. If someone claims your treasure they pay a fee that goes straight to you, fantastic! (unless of course they have chosen to buy the trap disarm levels, that is.)

See? This whole game is about patience, strategy, and leveling risk and reward. It's an amazing game folks, just know what you're getting into - knowledge is power. Happy hunting!!

Having played this game and observing the growth and development of it since about a month after it's debut, myself being a game nut in my late '50's that has played so many games on all platforms over the years, this game stands alone. Kitty Code has mastered what no other game developer has. They have designed a game of true world scale. It is so fun and addicting. I love it and will probably play as long as I live! It IS that good!!

With the new 3.2 upgrades, the depth of strategy and gameplay is much more engaging. It is the perfect mix of fantasy treasure hunting in the real world because the game board IS the real world! Wherever you go, you can play and the creative team at Kitty Code have put together virtual prizes that you will cherish. The bang for the buck ratio here is... "Great!" Buy it, play it and live the dream of being a treasure hunter!! You will love it as all that play it do!

Traveler's Quest is a great game that's addictive in a good way. It's especially fun for road trips, business trips and getting off the couch on weekends. The developers stay involved with the players via Facebook and Twitter, and they're frequently making improvements. This latest update is excellent.

I wanted to love this "game". Started out with a great ambition that I would ride my bike to the closest treasures near me to get a bit of exercise while playing. Was a little disappointed to find only 3 close by. Went and got them and then found I may not be a high enough "level" to find others. So I spent about $20 to level up my detection and bury level (yes.. You have to basically pay to be any good at this game). And I found a few more treasures around.. Got them and also buried a few of the ones I found around the area. Within a few days the ones I buried were found and gone. So basically the money i spent wasn't good enough to protect my treasure. Long story short.. You have to basically pay to be any good at this game. Also I haven't figured out how to get treasure other then buy maps which basically cost money. The concept is really good but the gameplay needs a lot of work. I really don't think I should have to pay a ton of money just to play the game. And others that are willing to "pay to play" are always going to be a higher level then you. It almost seems the game was designed just to line the developers pockets and not actually around the game concept. If they made it more like a RPG where you increase your level when you actually do something (like find a treasure) I think the game would be much more rewarding. But the current gameplay does nothing but drain your pocketbook. Skip this game until it focuses more on the game and not the money.

* update.. The new update more then verifies they are only in this game for the money. You have to pay to see the history of an item?? Common now... Gonna have to stop buying products from you guys. Too bad too.. I gave your hurricane app a really good rating. Gonna go change it now. Oh and stop contacting me in game.. It's creepy..

This is, BY FAR, my favorite iPhone game!! It can get rough when you're first starting out but, if you stick with it, you'll be hooked! I find myself venturing off the beaten path, DAILY, in an attempt to get that next "great treasure" (and I know I'm not alone)! The developers are constantly integrating ideas from the users & the support is like no other! There is also a great community of players who offer tips, suggestions, and good will (at least enough to where it won't compromise their "stash"). I can't say enough about this game! I hope you give it a go! Worst case, it gets you out exploring the world a bit! Happy Hunting - RobNh00d

Great game on it's own, but it heats up when other treasure hunters enter your area. Great Facebook community. You can use the in game gold to level up or use in App purchase. Plenty of bot treasures if no one is around
